Rehashing the Runways
I did the work and revisited all of the spring/summer 2025 runways so you didn't have to
This newsletter was like getting a science fair presentation together. I did the research, compiled my notes, and here we are at the moment of the presentation and grading! I spent the last week and half scrolling through Vogue’s spring summer 2025 runways shows, taking screen shots of anything I found interesting, intriguing, or copy-worthy. It’s a lot to take in, what with hundreds of designers and sifting through collections of up sometimes up to 80 looks (yea), but it’s worth it to have all of my favorite runway looks ready to reference. While we are not fully in the spring season yet, I figure it’s not too early to start thinking about wardrobes and playing around with the pieces we have in our closets, experimenting in the name of fashion!
Once I had all of my screenshots out together in one place, I wanted to create boards that helped to break up the type of looks a little bit better. I broke them down by thinking about which woman would wear the pieces, basically creating capsules! Some also lean into certain themes I noticed amongst the details and silhouettes because despite all trying to be different and unique there are some notable over arching themes for the season (and its not the “ground breaking” florals for spring!)
Without further ado, I give you my spring summer runway round-up for you to enjoy and reference all season long!
A very “Coastal Americana” vibe in the above…
Loving the earthy colors that have been pumped up in vibrancy, or put in contrast with lighter and brighter hues, it all feels really fresh and perfect for the season.
I am all for these nods to vintage silhouettes, the same details of antique night gowns along with 1930’s and 1940’s style slip skirts and dresses.
Alright now I’m ready to head somewhere sandy and warm with this entire outfit line-up.
Boho is back! Thank you Chloe!! Living for the bead and shell details on the accessories and shoes- the perfect way to feel like you’re always on vacation.
Gauzy ethereal fabrics everywhere, mixed with soft tones in creams and grays. It’s so feminine, yet comfortable, really leaning into styling simplicity and letting the silhouettes do the work.
A touch of tailoring and some fantastic spring jackets.
The longer silhouettes of spring! Featuring fuller skirts and long layers, great inspiration for transition seasons.
A touch of red is still relevant!
And this ones for all the girls, girls who still enjoy classically feminine details and styles (cough* bows* cough) and other little details.
Happy browsing friends <3
Cheers,
xx Taylor
